Would you like to explore beyond Porto and discover some of northern Portugal’s most charming destinations without worrying about planning and logistics? Then this experience is for you.

I will pick you up in front of your hotel and we will begin our journey towards Aveiro, often called the “Venice of Portugal,” located about one hour from Porto. Traveling in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan with all the necessary insurances and licences, you can simply relax and enjoy the changing landscapes along the way.

In Aveiro, we will walk along the canals, admire the colourful moliceiro boats, and explore the elegant Art Nouveau buildings that give the city its unique character. We will also provide a boat tour as a group activity. Then you will have time to discover the local atmosphere and, if you wish, taste the traditional ovos moles, the city’s famous sweet.

We then continue to Costa Nova, known for its iconic striped houses facing the Atlantic Ocean. Here, you will enjoy the fresh sea breeze, scenic coastal views, and time for photos along one of Portugal’s most picturesque seaside settings.

Our journey continues to Coimbra, one of Portugal’s oldest and most historic cities, once the country’s capital and home to one of Europe’s oldest universities. Walking through its historic center, I will introduce you to the university area, narrow medieval streets, and viewpoints overlooking the Mondego River, sharing stories about student traditions and the city’s cultural importance. And we will visit most iconic side of Coimbra, beautiful library of Coimbra university. 

After a full and balanced day combining coastal landscapes, history, and local traditions, we return comfortably to Porto.
